Picture is worth 1000 words.

Cleaning out my Inno Marine 40 gallon all-in-one to restock and recycle after construction caused my previous tank to crash.

Tank is in very good shape overall - but I noticed the back right 'silicone' (I'm not sure the material tbh) was loose.

Tank seems sound, didn't leak, so I'm wondering if that rubber / silicone is mainly cosmetic or if it's something I should worry about.

There's definitely some 'give' in the middle as you can see with my finger.

If I need to do something - anyone game to help???

Thanks,
Ryan

I would recommend cutting away the old silicone that is loose then tape off that side and reseal it with black aquarium safe silicone.
No shortcuts when it comes to tank seals, do it right and then sleep well! If you have some confidence in the existing silicone, you can always add more, but it looks like here that might not work.
