The Great Pacific Garbage Patch it will make every reefer sick!

This was just brought to my attention the other day at work. The way the oceans currents work around the world every piece of plastic that falls into the ocean ends up here. There is a section in the pacific that all the currents converge and the plastic get contained. Imagine an area the size of Texas and is completely covered in plastic garbage. The garbage in that section of the ocean out weights surface zooplankton 6:1. It is killing marine life constantly. I saw a picture of a dead whale that had plastic stuck between it's baleen which meant it starved to death because it couldn't eat any longer. This is crazy you need to google The Great Pacific Garbage Patch it will make every reefer sick!

People should actually THROW AWAY their garbage in a TRASH CAN! :|
I wonder if my shoe I lost in the tide last year is there...

It's tiny bits of mostly transparent plastic suspended in the water. It's hard to take a picture of that.
