Our mission

Trying out new camera.

My underwater photography is marginal at best.

Top downs usually look the nicest.

Using an acrylic box to break the surface tension linke this http://www.melevsreef.com/topdown.html and turning pumps off helps a ton.

Brian,

There is a place on Pennisula Ave that rents out lenses called "Borrow Lenses" so you can try a couple of different ones. You also probably want to shoot in raw mode and get some kind of processing software like Adobe Lightroom to help once you have taken the pic. Mostly it just takes lots of trial and error.

Thanks guys ffor the info.Read manual last night.Still lost!Does the lense affect the washed out look.My tank pics look so white like the flash is flashing but it not.
Trust me Im go with the error part.Hense the posts!! :)

I 'm just going to mess with everthing,It has A guide mode that shows me aperture and exposure numbers .Still reading about those.I put it in manual mode and adjusted still it seemed better.Thank god for large memery card.I truely envy those who can take great pictures.I only had a Point and shoot till now .Its amazing what one takes for granted.
