Ok, so here's the story. I just got a 28g JBJ tank to replace my 14g BC display. I would like to turn the 14g BC into a frag tank once the 28g cycles and is ready for corals.
The 14g currently has the following relevant equipment:
• 150w Sunpod w/14k phoenix bulb
• modded biocube skimmer
• 3" sandbed
• Tunze ATO
• Vortech mp20 (which is going in the 28g JBJ, I have 3 koralia nano's and a koralia 1 to replace it)
• MJ900 for the return
• 18w of PC acitinic light, not much I know but I fabbed a little something to have acitinics over the tank
Some questions:
1. Is it ok to leave the sandbed in there?
2. Is it ok to leave some of the live rock?
3. Should i get a UV sterilizer?
4. Are jawfish and a bi-color blenny ok in the same tank? if not, the blenny will stay in this tank, is that ok?
5. What else am I missing?
