Actually have a day off today.

Having loads of fun cleaning up a "Vundo-ful" laptop(not mine) right now.

You might need to run each one in Safe Mode several times to do the job.

Pretty sneaky how Vundo keeps turning off the Windows Update service and blocks access to sites you need.

We just got rid of this virus (hopefully) on one of our workstations. It took my IT cousin 2, 8-hour days, to clear out the virus.

Mike, that sounds about right, haha.

I've been working on that laptop for the past 3 days, a few hours at a time.

Symantec's vundo fix couldn't find anything, and I had to run each of the other tools multiple times to gradually clean it out of the system. After one tool was completely done, the next tool would find more. Eeesh.

Pretty impressive virus.
