I am getting ready to move my tank back into my family room (the floors are finally refinished). I was thinking about putting some type of sealer inside the stand on the bottom in order to keep any sump spills from draining onto the new floor. Someone recommended Pond Coat/Rubber Coat from PermiDri, but I am having a hard time finding this. Can anyone recommend anything else or tell me where to get this that is not wholesale?

Suppose this thread is quite old but you might want to try a penetrating epoxy.
Smiths is a excellent brand and they are located in Richmond near 580.

Their products are also sold in marine supply stores. Swendsens in Alameda carries their stuff.
