Bubble-tipped Anemone decided to Split Naturally

So my faded flame tip anemone decided to split.

It was sitting in its cup and I could see it was stretching.

A couple minutes later I saw it stretching A LOT. Two parts of the anemone were going in separate directions.

I could see the foot ripping a part. This all happened within 15 minutes.

Glad to see your anemone reproducing. Do you think it split from lack of light, food, or other nutrients?

Anemones are hard to model with their behavior.

Wow, to actually see that happening is something... that said I really wish my RBTAs never split, I would so much love that big show piece anemone that I've seen in stores that houses a couple clowns that look completely dwarfed by the size of the anemone, but nope, 2 dozen smaller ones.

Maybe it split because it was happy and it thought this would be a good neighborhood to have kids lol

It has stayed in its cup for a long time and is at the highest point in my tank = most light.

I dont know why it split lol but im betting they are both still in the cup.
