Albert's UNS R120

I've always wanted to start a tank journal of a build from scratch but my lazy ass stopped me every time I attempted XD. Soon I realized that I already had a fully stocked rsr 350 system running...

But since it is a G1 Red Sea and by looking at all those tank failures online I decided to do an upgrade sometime this year. I was following the UNS R systems since they announced it last year and really liked the sleek design. Lucky enough there was a great deal for a r120 offered by @ClearWaterAquarium recently so I jumped on it and here we are ;) Great chance to start documenting what I'm doing!

I will be transferring everything from my rsr350 to this setup soon (probably this weekend). The UNS system is just slightly bigger than the 350 so I will probably just keep the rock scape and do some minor changes later on

The tank basically came pre-assembled so there wasn't much work in putting it together. Huge thanks to @t0mmy108 for helping with moving the tank and leveling it!

Finally can get rid of the diy controller cabinet and stuff everything into the stand

As of now the tank has already been filled and running for a week, getting ready for the transfer (door was damaged upon delivery, but the replacement is already on its way!). Threw a couple bio blocks in there from my old system and added new sand

Have been matching the parameters of the two systems this week to get ready for the move. Will be using old tank water and rocks with new sand. Since there's only a 30 gallon difference it'll be similar to a water change (hopefully XD)

List of equipments that I am using
---------------------------------------
Lights: ReefBreeder Meridians
Flow: MP40*2 + Maxspect gyre 330*2
Controller: Neptune Apex A3 pro
Return: Sicce Syncra SDC
Skimmer: Red Sea 300 (want to change this soon :( it will overflow once in a while for unknown reason)
Filtration: Reef mat (hopefully it'll fit in the UNS sump)
Dosing: Reefdose4 with Red Sea 4 part

Beautiful Tank, Following! UNS tanks looks amazing definitely on my list for next tank.

How do like the Meridiens? I’m running the same over my UNS90; Are you running a stock program or a custom one?
Seems like we have a similar setup  The meridians are doing good! Very powerful lights imo. I am using a schedule from community, just adjusted the percentage. How's the UNS 90 so far? I do have some issue with installing a roller mat in the 120...

My 90 is doing well, been up about 3 months now with corals, Haven't put in much time, but have been looking for the best lighting program off/on. Currently running a stock program from the initial setup.

Nice. I think that works too, the custom one I copied from community tab is actually just same percentage for each color except white, with one hour ramp up and one hour ramp down
