got ethical husbandry?

Aqua plus is for sale

Way over priced , He’s in over his head. I’m surprised he lasted this long.
He has another business this was his side venture so 90% of his attention goes to other business kinda hard to succeed when ur not present 90% of the time. As a person he's a cool guy. But totally agree way in over his head from the start to much going on to run 2 places effectively. It's 2 blocks from me so I have more incites than most.

If I were to waste my money on a ridiculous expense, I would be spending it on this guy:

Behind every closed LFS there is a failed dream. It's quite sad actually. My family's been there.

Yea, hes asking for alot, but its hard to put a price on something like that. Not too many B&M around anymore. As a kid, going to those was one of my favorite pass times.

Ive never been to this store, but consider it a loss to locals that can't have that same experience i did growing up.

Right! I went over to Galt to visit a buddy and stubbled my way into a store called Twins Aquarium...omg did it bring me back to my childhood! I loved it! Scorpions under the counter, fresh on one side, salt on the other, birds even all the way in the back....it reminds me of a store looooong time ago in Sacramento that had a full grown tortoise roaming the store.

First Sea Splendor now Twins...were like two planets circling around the same sun lmfao. You are the only other person to know of those two stores I mentioned.
That’s false! I know of Twinns pretty well. John (the owner) was the one that set me up with my first reef tank 25 years ago back when I used to live in Stockton.

While we're going down memory lane, anyone go to The Fish Tank and Aquatic Gallery in Milpitas? Those were the LFS that got me started from tetras, discus, cichlids, to reefs. My friend and I would ride our bikes there just to browse in awe of the selection. The owners knew us well enough that we'd get IOUs if we were short on cash.

Then @robert4025 came in a ruled the south bay scene :p

I always remember the owner at aquatic gallery in suits all the time like Than at Tidal Gardens. I wouldn't dream of getting skimmate on my dress shoes!

The chiropractor's displays were always on point. I couldn't afford much from his shop back then but always went for inspiration. Those days I spent a ton of time at Sun Aquarium helping the owner with shop tasks in trade for great prices and friendship. Going to the airport to pickup shipments and unbox late at the store was a ton of fun.

A couple or few years later- @robert4025 offering economical frags really helped out my tight budgeted reefing. I appreciated having both economical and fancy in his shop.
