Every few months I check Poma Labs to see what crazy fish they have in stock. Not much right now, but there were some insanely priced captive-bred angelfish hybrids a few months ago. I assume they’ve sold :0
 
Money is relevant to how much you have. I’ve known about 20 billionaires and a few multi billionaires. Ten thousand dollars is like five dollars to them. But they have one thing in common. They are all extremely cheap in everyday life. When it comes to entertaining or something they like. The skies the limit. It’s crazy how they think. All of them are a little strange on their thinking too.

I know some millionaires. They are really cheap to others, but lavish themselves with jewelries and vacations.
Came to my superbowl party empty handed while showing off their vacation pictures. Never treat group to any meal. I only invited him, because he's part of the group. Bastid played 2 superbowl square, asked me to pick for him. I did, he won and didn't give me shit.

They have a $100 bill, ask for $50 back when gifting their nephew birthday present.

I asked, why you're so cheap, they replied, how do you think we became millionaires?

Yup for real. I always tell this one story. My former life , I was a drycleaner to the 1%. The rich of the rich. They have 8000-10,000 dollars for a set of bed sheets. They have like 5 or more sets. We charge any where from 50 to 125 dollars to clean and hand finish them to perfection. They always loose their shit and ask if there’s any cheaper options.

Jeez, dry cleaning sheets. I try not to buy anything I have to dry clean.

All one had to do was buy a house in the bay area 10+ years ago. All are millionaires now. jk
 
i am not sure if i am frugal or cheap. but i am definitely stupid when it comes to spontaneous purchases for my fish tank :rolleyes: i should be both cheap and frugal given my finances :p
