Acclimation Box Size

I'm wondering how big of an acclimation box everyone uses and if the one I'm using appears to be large enough. The tank is a 50G, 30"L x 16"H . The box is about 6"L x 8"H x 4"W. Would it be a problem to keep a fish in here for a week?

Context - I introduced a yellow coris and it was getting bullied by my large clown, so I caught the clown and have it in the box. I plan to keep it there for about a week until the wrasse can get it's footing, which is going well and has been making great progress.

Big mistake on my part not having the wrasse in the box immediately, but I've since learned.

Do you have 2 clowns or one? If paired take them both out. Return larger one alone and they can fight possibly fight each other. Basically keep the clowns together not separate rather box or sump.

Taping small mirrors to tank helps alot.

There is, but I thought the acclimation box would be better since it would be exposed to the new fish.
Maybe but in my experience with certain fish the sump for two weeks = time out kinda resets the fishes brain thinking its a new environment when added back in sorta changes his pecking order..But hasn’t worked with certain tangs and maroon clowns in the past Ive had.. @Kensington Reefer is a clown guru maybe he can chime in..

Got it, well I've got the clown in the sump now. I think 2 weeks in the sump is much better than 1 in that box. I was starting to feel bad for how cramped it was, so I'm a bit relieved to have made the move.

Any other advice is appreciated.
