Moved around some stuff and added more euphyillia…. Addictions are bad

Very little live rock. Only some rubble n the acrylic container with some ricordias, yumas, zoas and the magic carpet. I do have a maxspect bio brick and some marinepure gems in the back.

Water finally cleared up and corals are looking 80% back to normal. Lesson learned, calibrate those Hanna salinity checkers

Partially Fixed AI prime -- Was WTB: (borrow or buy): AI prime power supply or full AI prime

I also have a AI Prime that is flickering that's not in use if someone wants to mess around with it. I don't plan on sending it in. It comes with the power supply and flexible gooseneck if someone ( @thesassyindian) wants to try and fix it.

You can give it a try though

Ecotech MP 10 for Reefer 350?

I tried using MP10's on thicker glass and it would be noisy and drop every so often. Probably because one of the sides (wet/dry) were shifting a little bit

Water started clearing up today. One of the euphyillia bleached, a neon yellow wall hammer. Colors have dulled on all euphyillia. So far, only lost one dragon soul torch and a few heads of another frogspawn.

Yeah, I did a 20% water change. Tank is still cloudy and the diatoms keep coming. Algae growth is also high. However, the torches are extending a bit more now and the other euphyillia are starting to extend (although still very contracted). Mushrooms and ricordia still look unhappy as well.

The torch that had the brown jelly is completely dead. Tank is very cloudy and about half the euphyillia are still very unhappy. A diatom bloom started as well, I assume the Cipro killed off a ton of bacteria. Been dosing Microbacter7 and Microbacter Clean to help with the tank bacteria and...

Good and bad news. Looks like brown jelly has stopped, the other half of the head of the torch is still kicking. Bad news, about 60% of the euphyillia still look super deflated.

Thanks to @Mr2KiEu, got my hands on some Cipro. Going to try dosing at .125mg/g as some people have suggested to help with brown jelly and overall tank unhappiness. Will do 3 doses, 2 days apart and report on results.

I read about cipro for brown jelly as well. Do you have any recommended dosages/time to leave in?

One of the torches started to brown jelly and a couple of frogspawn heads died. Changed out the carbon and did a water change. For the brown jelly, I went with this method to try and save the other head: Rinse the infected corals vigorously to remove as much of the jelly as possible. This is...

Corals looked terrible today. Tested all parameters: Alk: 170ppm Calcium: 500 Magnesium: 1500 Phosphate: .06 Nitrate: 1 Salinity was showing as 35 on the Hanna checker, however, after calibration, it showed 37... Did a water change and got the salinity back to 35. Hoping the corals can...
