Seeing you added cheato and have so many it's likely the source for them to spread so quickly all over the tank. Cheato from tanks with aptasia can have tons of them. Have it tumbling in sump it realses spores or peices and spreads throughout your tank via your return pump. My best guess going...
Maybe aim them at the rocks it'll break the flow off center them from each other and make it sorta swirl. Or consider slightly more coarse sand.
I kinda thought that was intentional lol.

Post from r2r sugguests it's likely splitting.
I've seen pictures in the past of them doing that. Yet it's never personally happened to any of my torches or hammers
Yes seriously I make it through this headache. I won't be randomly tossing in fish into existing tanks any more. I wouldn't wanna experience this tank wide issue again.
It would be far easier treating 1-2 new fish than a full tank of them.
So update that I forgot to post yesterday.
The very next day after loosing the green corsis wrasse, I also lost the yellow coris wrasse. I'm suspecting (specifically the Corris wrasse) they didn't handle the copper well. The last remaining wrasse the melanurus wrasse seems in optimal health...
A hydros minnow or blenny would likely be my next hydros product I pick up. Have you tried contacting their support. I hear they are fairly responsive.

Bumping to see who's intrested in showing their tanks. If your intrested/on the fence but not sure. Maybe you have questions about it your welcome to dm me and I would be happy to discuss how how tank tours work as well as what to expect based on those from last year.
I'm happy he's brought up alternatives. It may make more sense to someone else in the future. At this point I'm already committed to follow through with copper power treatment.
Yes just fully documenting the experience. A few more days no eating i might get concerned lol. They are all swimming freely and don't look sick or getting skinny
