Plan to increase PAR on the SPS tank …

New 75G is 3 months old now, have three radion xr30s mounted perpendicular to tank at 46 % (mostly blue with tiny bit of white) and want to raise par to help with growth and pigment development. I also just introduced some new frags so perfect timing to increase par. I measure par using seneye...

Tanks Alk consumption has increased 30% over the last 15 days

My 25G year old lagoon consumes 18 ml b-bionic alk per day; 75G 3 month old tank using 38 ml BRS alk per day. Bare bottom tanks, no clams, just SPS. Unless you have a 12” giga clam or something I can’t imagine why your alk consumption is so heavy! if you stop dosing alk, what is your tank...

Tanks Alk consumption has increased 30% over the last 15 days

You reminded me that in the trident manual they recommended setting up a profile like you described above. I’m still running constant dose across 24 hours and should add profile.

Tanks Alk consumption has increased 30% over the last 15 days

Yup and when I ran my 210 with CaRx refilling those CO2 bottles was expensive. If you do don’t bother with tini tiny baby bottle get the large ones because it will cost about the same to refill.

Yes, you may also like the bubblegum digi just because you don’t see that color often in other corals.

Do you mean the Forrest fire montipora digitata above the garf bonsai? If so both are common and arguable some of the most colorful and beautiful, easy to keep SPS in the hobby! Everyone should have both in their SPS tanks!

    Covid-19 tank #2 : IM 75G

I bought five lyretail anthias females from aquatic collection, because they didn’t have any alpha males, and sure enough one month later the dominate female changed color and became the alpha male. Amazing.

    Return flow question.

As a counter view I love clear spa check value with double unions so they are easy to remove if your need to. The advantage to check values is almost zero flow back into the sump. I have on both my tanks and love them. Not sure why you would need 24 hours to install one. An hour is more than...
