Camera body is the EOS 10D, the one I bring to meetings. Lens is 100-400mm 1:4.5 - 5.6 "L" with image stabilizer. That's one of those ubiquitous white lenses you see in sporting events.

I went whale shooting today, and would like to share the pics with you. What a treat to see these two from a ridge behind my house. The calf sure jumped with joy (I think) after swimming under the Carquinez bridge. Hopefully they'll make it safely to the ocean. Here's the link...

I actually was born and raised in Bacolod City in the same island where they're doing this experiment. I'll try to check it out, time permitting, when I go back for a visit in a few months.

I've got an on-line TDS meter (group buy from way back) with 2 input leads, installed post membrane and the other post DI. Both register zero. I use pen-type TDS for validation. Pretty consistent, so I trust the on-line completely.

And 1 micron filter clogged up. :D

Thanks, Arnold, that's the opposite of Buckeye's, so I'll install accordingly. Note on these pre-filters: it's already been mentioned, but let me clarify: Remove the hose between the 1 micron cannister and the RO unit and let the water flow out. I let ~5 gal go (has black carbon residue)...

My existing filters from Buckeyefieldsupply has blue as 5 micron and white as 1 micron. Apon, please confirm that that's the same configuration as our batch. Thanks. Jim

Many moons ago Greg65 gave me a diadema urchin. After doing it's job in my tank, I passed it on to Nukeproof, hmmm, about a year ago? Mission accomplished, so Pat asked if I wanted an urchin. YES, and he dropped one off this morning, turned out to be the one I gave him last year. Way to go!
