can ceramic plugs leach silicates? since the clay itself has lots of silica in it, or is it a special none silica clay? I was thinking about making custom plugs like BAF, it isn't very hard and supplies are "dirt" cheap. any advice helps, may just make the agrocrete plugs instead...

oceanic tanks are typically starphire front panels and standard sides, easiest way to tell is either take a white piece of paper and place it 1/2 way in the tank against the glass, if it looks alittle green it isnt starphire. or you can look down the glass panel itself, it should have a blueish...

I like coraline covered rock but I HATE when it grows on my tank, back wall is ok, but the front and sides are bad places for it to grow, and it seems to comeback after 3-4 days, scrubbing coraline off a plexi tank is tedious work, scrub to hard and you have a nice scuff across your glass...
