Ai prime question

Has anyone seen this color indicator on an AI Prime before? I cant find what this color means anywhere. Fan is running but button is unresponsive.

AI Prime's have a common issue with fan failure. Try taking it apart and cleaning out all the dust with rubbing alcohol and q-tips. Contact Support to see if they'll fix or replace it for you at a reduced cost since you are a second hand owner.

If it doesn't work out I have a two black AI Prime HD with gooseneck for sale for $160. Good luck!
 
Yes, very easy to replace fans.
They have instructions online if I remember.
But they are like $25 or so, which gets annoying after about 3 failures so far.
 
If it is red/pink, clean it first though. Could just be crud.
When the fans fail, there is a grinding noise before they die.
 
Hang on, just looked at your picture more, and that really is pink.
The red for thermal shutdown is much darker. Very different. I have seen it plenty.
No idea what pink means.

And the fan is running. I powered the unit off. Held the button and powered it back on. Let the button go when it started to flash. It was flashing the firmware update colors. It was Blinking Red/Green/Blue (alternating) for almost 10 min before I pulled the plug. After that it's just solid pink with no response from the button and fan running full time.
