Well I'll put it this way... a ton of stores have been visited by CA Ag and fined for selling both water lettuce and duckweed. Sounds like a banned retail species to me. I highly doubt anything has changed to make them not so in the last 8 years.

Well maybe it was such an important post it needed to be restated :D

BTW, I think the saying goes "Ignorance of the law is no excuse", you can still see this with banned caulerpa species in some stores.

Yes there is a saying as you wrote, but I am quoting what a judge said to me when I went to traffic court as a teenager ;)
