I'm an idiot. All the years I had Tunze pumps I never realized the outside magnets were waterproof. The way you have them hides so much!

Yeah I looked it up after and they say both sides are identical in construction. So as waterproof as any sealed magnet, until they're not haha

Looks like everything is back to normal and corals are coming back alive

so this tank has been shut down due to crazy aiptasia problem, most corals got killed by overgrown aiptasias, I've tried getting CBB, Peppermint shrimps, filefish, and nudis.. all failed to kill aiptasias, I had to manually kill them by hand using kalk paste. but they just keeps coming back in waves. so I shut it down and started another new tank in different size.
