Ok -- I know it does more, but I already have a Triton. I only need the Nitrate. Damn.
 
I placed an order, I think it will be very useful paired with my kh guardian... potassium and nitrates are very useful...

The nice thing about the director is that you can test once a day or once a week if you wanted to. They allow you to test ad frequent or infrequent as you like. So you can influence the life of the probs I would think.
Only thing am waiting to understand is if there is an expiration on the cal solution once its opened...

The whole movement right now is progressing so fast that I’m excited to purchase something down the line but I’d love to see where this battle of the auto testers ends so I can put my money into something that isn’t outdated a year later like all the trident people will be if this ion probe deal is actually legit.
 
I’m a bit too far into Neptune at the moment to swap over, but I fully admit that K and NO3 would be nice. Add P to that and I’d consider adding it as a secondary item. Was the cost of calibration fluid mentioned? I’m slightly bothered by the vague targets for accuracy, but only slightly.

whats good about ghl is they release stand alone options. Meaning it work on it's own without the need for controller or changing a controller

Single device means the ion director itself without the doser. You need a dos 2.1 with the director to push water and cal solution in and out to the probs..

Stand alone is the option that the director will not need a ghl controller..

See 24 months if I do weekly tests is good times all the way around. But considering this technology is new for the hobby, not going to jump in with two feet and trust what the literature says.
