You may already have been aware of BAR's Facebook page, where you can see announcements of upcoming events and photos of past events.

We are also now on Twitter, where you can receive meeting announcements and reminders, in addition to other great info.

I'm still looking for a dinosaur to maintain our Friendster presence!

I personally don't "get" social media, and I am glad we have savvy and hip volunteers to manage this area. It's far too cool for me.

Social Media is a huge part to our shops success and is easy for my to send new customers your way for info if they are just browsing

Just gotta leverage the social media users with our mission statement, upcoming/past events, and cool tank setups to our hobby. With some time in the seat, I'm sure we can use it to to help us and the hobby.
