Blue photosynthetic sponge

I made a bunch of frags of this beautiful blue photosynthetic sponge that I have growing. It looks like a plating monti but has a slightly shiny surface, and undulates a little in the current. It is peaceful with adjacent coral, and my cleaner shrimp like to hang out upside down under it. I got it as an unknown hitchhiker a couple years ago. Since then, I’ve noticed several other BAR members have mentioned that they have it, so it seems like a BAR signature species :)

The frags are attached to rock rubble, and I have a bunch of them. Free to supporting members. I’ll be at the CFM this Saturday and at the upcoming fragging workshop in March. I live in Walnut Creek for pickup.
