Well,
I ordered it two months ago during their holiday special and the clearview lid finally arrived. They had sent me an email update that it was in line to be produced two weeks ago and they would ship it as soon as it was ready.
I was a bit nervous when it arrived since the packaging was a bit flimsy and I think we all know how rough delivery people can be with packages. It was two pieces of cardboard taped together.
Their disclaimer:
Most important part, remove BOTH layers of protective film. One is easy to see but the other side is clear. If you don’t remove it the acrylic has a dirty/smoky look.
Finally, after making sure it fit I removed all the protective coatings and placed it on the tank. Fit like a glove!
Close up so you can see how high it sits above the lip.
Overall pretty happy with the results. The lid is pretty thick and does not bend much when you lift it up. Overall makes the tank look way better than my old lid from Red Sea that looked like I stole someone’s window screen cover.
