DBTC aussie Blue polyp monti

Not a great picture, but this is what it looks like. Will be interesting to see where it ends up

I place the colony at the bottom of my tank shaded by other corals. The colony was so big that I don't have room on the top rock work to place it. Just give it some time to color up in you tank. I just make a small frag too; and I planning to place it on the top to see if I can bring the color back.

Here's what it looked like when I first got it from Perry (4/29).

The base is lightening up and the tissue is filling back in (5/8).

scroll down to the very bottom and you can see it under 2 lighting conditions. left=sunpod 14k, right = UVL t5HO

it is slow growing but it has done some major color shifting.

I'm beating on it pretty hard with light in what seems like a super low nutrient tank. You got tons of light, but I know you also have a ton of fish. Perhaps that is the trick with this one?
