I asked them about whether or not they were gonna develop a smaller one a year ago and at the time they said no. Well, look at this...

So Eric what did you end up doing in your pico/nano tank? you went with the MP40 didn't you?? :D

However this isn't surprising, the nano market is a good sized market, might as well try to get a piece of it, although a $200 price tag puts it up there with the most expensive Tunze Nano, which might price it out of the market to all but the most serious reefers.

Yup, I've been running the MP40W since the tank has been up. I've been running the pump on full blast (that dial needs to go way past where it's at!) and was thinking about more flow. :D

Good thing you don't have a big tank.. You would need 10 of those for a 100G tank  ..

I just saw it working today at the MAX convention and that thing can creates some serious wave action for an incredibly compact size.

Do you remember the size of the tank and how many MP10s were running?

I just saw it at MAX convention too, they had 1 running on what looks to be a 10-20 gallon long tank. Pretty cool.

Kind of neat, if anything maybe it'll get the nano-boys to quiet down about how big the Vortech pumps are :D

2.5" diameter x 1.5" length... not too shabby
