Kessil

Ended up unloading all the pellets in avast into tank now what

I use this method for every cleaning. I use the Red Sea 225 micron plastic (not felt) filter socks doubled up. Clamp the socks on the wall of the sump. Clamp 1/2 tubing into the socks. Siphon to filter for as long as I want or until the sock fills up. The plastic mesh is a lot easier to clean than felt. Doubled up because it lets less through. You could have the second one be finer micron size for extra points.

I don’t have a rollermat, but siphoning down to the chamber right before the rollermat would achieve the same and probably be easier (though more expensive).

I don’t recommend the stockings method mostly because as it fills up the hole size increases and lets stuff out. Also since it’s floppy it’s harder to work with.
This post (maybe others have posted the same method) has CHANGED my tank maintenance life. I knew people filtered junk out of water thru socks instead of endless water changes, but I did neither and got tanks too full of old detritus bc of the PITA felt socks. Plastic mesh takes 20 seconds to rinse inside out! Ooh - I have not tried doubling up the socks but you know I will. I love this method now since I am always battling algae. Will work on that soon and also get some fish to feast upon it.

One of the reasons why auto water changes are less effective than this deliberate removal of detritus etc.
