Well, I was looking at picking this up.

As it turns out, the unit is 5" around by 5" tall, which is too big for the middle compartment of my sump (4.75" across only). So, I'm thinking about DIY'ing one.

Anyone know where I can get some 300 micron cloth/mesh in sheets so that I can cut them down for creating some screens?

I have one, but was wondering if I can buy the same stuff in a sheet instead of pulling one apart.

There's gonna be 3 x 300 micron sections in the build. I want to be able to make some extra for swapping out and also for replacing them once they clog.

For just about any sort of "raw" item, and many tools/parts, mcmaster car should be one of your search sources;)

what is it?

Nothing fancy really. Just a DIY solution since that sucker won't fit in my sump.

Thanks for the link, Tony. I just placed an order. :)

Well, it's cut and pieced together at the moment. With two compartments it was too tall and I had to make do with just one compartment.

Who here runs both GAC and GFO in the same reactor?

I take it that McMaster was superfast on shipping to you? Ive noticed that when I order, I get my part in 1 to 2 days tops.
