My harlequin isn't interested in a choc chip starfish that has been in the tank for 3 days. He was right next to it and just ignored it. Any advice?

I have never found cc stars to be a good foor for harly's. Legs are small, and number of tube feet are small, and cc stars are really hard. I woud pick up a fromia or linkia and see what happens.

I've read about some buying bags dried up starfish and feeding them legs! If you ever go with that method please share how it has been working for you

Did you get it to eradicate asterinas? If so and they are gone pass the shrimp in to a tank that needs it.
If you got it to keep long term I’d say ask club members to collect asterinas for you.
I don’t want to tell others what’s right and wrong, but for me I wouldn’t feel great about buying starfish to rip apart or be slowly eaten alive.
