Well, the pico tanks have really less real estate , so unless I frag the grandis others wont get a chance to grow, and I would really like my solar flare zoa to grow a bit more

 

Tanks look nice. 3 small tanks seems like a real commitment. Really Nice pics. What camera are you using?

My maintenance has reduced a lot in last few months. Bi weekly 10g water change (picos 80%, biocube 20%)., and my controller comes handy as well

I use iPhone with olloclip pro macro lense 75$, and camera+ iphone app

nukes birdnest from the top parts of BC29, rest is business as usual. Slowed down spot feeding a lot, to better judge the growth rate of the individual corals. I want to gauge which one can outgrow others in individual regions,

what do you use to take photos?

 

Either my iPhone 7 or Nikon d5300. I also have macro lenses for both. I do fix color temperate in software (camera + in iPhone and gimp on laptop/d5300) to remove the blue tint

 

Olloclip is the iPhone macro lens vendor (75$) and for Nikon it’s tokina 100mm. I just got the tokina , still learning

 

I was thinking about getting a macro lense for an a6000, but haven't found exactly which one I want yet.

If you are on budget go for sigma, if you can spend 300$ then go for tokina

 

Are those cameras or lenses? My gf already has a a6000 so want to use that.

These are just lense, not body. You need an existing camera body (like d60)
