High calcium

IMO, you could get away with a magnesium dose by hand every month with a test and a reef calculator to tell you how much to dump in if you don't want a dosing pump. Mag doesn't get used up that fast, there is a fair amount of it in the water and the acceptable range is really wide. Ato isn't a bad method either, basically doing the same thing. I would argue you don't even need to calculate your evaporation rate, so long as it is almost emptying the container every time you replenish it so your mag level in your ato reservoir doesn't creep really high over time. You can also water change your way away from most of these with a small tank.

Water changes haven't been enough. I do 10gallons evey week. So far I've been doing mag once monthly as you mentioned. I'm not implying I'm crazy concerned here. Just fine tuning things a bit to optimize things overall.
