I got this guy from Ian a while back. He had it in the back of his tank and said "hey, color this up for me!". I failed. It started to color up when I had MH but it quickly browned out when I switched to t5 (4x over a 40g). Tank has a lot of light but this particular coral seems to want a lot of it.

Got 3 frags of this guy. Tentative ID is valida tricolor.

I just request that if you color it up, that you post a picture of it :-D
I don't think it will be hard to do, but I just don't have the setup for its needs.
 
I'd like to give it a shot. I have 400 watt MH.

My only issue is that I may have a conflict with my girls' soccer games...I will know as we get closer to that day if I can make it to the BAR meeting.

How long does the BAR meeting usually go to as I am new to the club.

I would say that the meeting lasts around 1.5- 2hrs (maybe 45min for the speaker, then raffle stuff) wh. You could probably sneak out earlier and there may be some casual chatter afterwords (and before)
 
After a year under 400 watt here is Ian's brown out special....It really started to grow and color in the lat 4 months for some reason.
 
Nice color you got Bula, the one in Tony's has nice looking as well, love that blue tip.

Love SPS in the way that a coral never looks same in different tanks.
