Innovative Marine Fusion 20 Long in Brentwood

Hey Everyone!

It's been a minute since I've been active on here. Finally settled into our new house and time to upgrade the tank! I've had a Fluval Evo 13.5 for a few years now and while a peninsula fit well in our old space (wet bar with 2 viewing angles), it doesn't fit great in my new office. I found a Nuvo 20 APS stand from @dangalang so got the wife's blessing to upgrade the tank!

Still getting things together and picking up the stand next week but figured I'd start a new tank journal since I already have packages flowing in.

I decided to go for more of a no budget but still kind of budget build this time around vs my usual extra budget builds. This means, I'm generally springing for more high end equipment but still looking for it used or a deal.

So far, I've got my skimmer, fleece roller, light, heater, etc... and still waiting on picking up the stand and making the big move of rock/livestock from my old tank. Going to try to re-use as much water as possible and move the rock over but use new sand so may have a mini cycle but hoping for the best. Open to tips if you have any with that process.

I'm also going to build a mini controller board with all of my controllers and an individually switched surge protector.

Thank you!! I'm running some extra floss in the back of my current tank right now to seed the new tank. Fingers crossed that plus my old rock is enough.

how old is the rock. i have some extra rocks and rubble in my sump ya can have. been sitting for like 2-4 years
