IO Reef Crystals recipe

Does anyone who uses IO Reef Crystals have a recipe I can follow?

I’m looking for:

To make X gallons of water at Y salinity, I use Z cups/pounds of salt.

1/2 cup per gallon is what the bucket says. I think that mixes slightly low at ~1.025sg. I normally mix rough at 1/2 and then measure after a few hours and add more if needed. I also never know EXACTLY how many gallons of fresh water i have.. so... it gets me in the ballpark.

Yeah, I always have to find tune and adjust... I normally shoot for 1.026 and have never nailed it straight on the head on the first try... then again, i am not that exacting when it comes to the initial mix

Each bag will get you 40 gal at 1.025-6
I use 2.5 bags for 100 gal at a time

I have a spreadsheet formula that I use for mixing RC. I can plug in total water volume and current salinity and it kicks out how many grams are needed to get to 35 ppt / 1.026 sg

834 grams per 5g of water
166.8 grams per gallon
or 4.765714286 per gallon per ppt

I have a mark line on top of the container which is measures to around 16g and 9 cups gives me more or less around 1.26.
