hmmm dunno about that make, I myself was debating between Kessil and Eotech. So I ended up going with Kessil's plus they're local.

I worry a bit about the cheap chinese fixtures because of possible safety issues. There was a fire recently caused by a 35 W Chinese LED fixture.

That brand you are looking at may be fine though. I'd recommend reading as many reviews as you can find.

Well I hate to say this... being as I am one of the original cheap bastages... but it really looks like a "you get what you pay for" type of deal. A few things pop out at me...

1) He's selling them to clear inventory? There could be a very good reason why his inventory isn't being cleared
2) What company is this again? Generic Chinese company... yeah ok.
3) What type of LEDs are these? They claim them as "3W" which is in itself silly, as there is no such thing as a "3 watt LED" there are LEDs that can be run at 3 watts, or less... or more... however these are definitely being run at less than 3watts.
4) Lumen output? Eh? Who uses Lumens for any fixture with an abundance of blue LEDs? Besides 3 26W CFL bulbs will give you about the same lumens as this fixture.
5) I personally wouldn't trust too many companies using craigslist as a way to sell inventory. I know some due it that are reputable but those are far and few between.

Looks like the old fashioned simple mixture of royal blue + cool white.
Not bad, but newer fixtures are better.
Cheap Chinese brand sold on craigslist ... enough said there.
Check the reviews!
Fine and cheap for a quick frag tank, but for the main display, lighting is one of the key things,
so I would suggest something of higher quality.

TaoTronics is apparently in San Jose off of Zanker Rd. That's near where I used to work.

If you're going to go low cost, look for a more reputable fixture that someone is selling due to tank breakdown or an upgrade. I wouldn't touch ones as cheap as this- too much risk IMO.

I actually have Kessils. Just wondering if this was a deal since many people ive met have used chinese knock offs with great success on their frag tanks. My sole purpose was to get this light and setup a frag tank.

Unless it specifically says "assembled in America" and even then... but more likely than not they knock these off in a Chinese factory and send them here, perhaps slapping their brand name sticker on them. But then again this is true of most electronics everything from LEDs to ipads.

If you're going to use one, just keep it away from anything flammable and hopefully it gives you $60 worth of usage.
