So I am on vacation in Germany, and my focus was of course to spend some money on unique reefing gear, and visit some public aquariums again (and potentially new ones, i.e., Burger Zoo/Netherlands).
But it turns out there will be some risk spending a disproportianoate amount on tech.
I bought the Switch 2 yesterday (pressured by kids) without any pre-order, my brother in law just randomly called a store who happended to have a couple of them. Had to order a different power plug from Bestbuy, but no voltage issues.
But the bigger deal was today when I bought a couple of computers for my mother and a good friend of the family. I saw the store had a 5090 on the top shelf, ZOTAC only though. I asked randomly if they had any of them in stock and they said yes, but wanted to know which brand. I jokingly asked if they had the Astral and he said, oh yes, plenty, about 12 in stock as of today. Price is still 3k of course. Now there is that. Trying to stay strong.
