Lineatus at Cali Kids today

Stopped by Cali kids today. He got a fish shipment in and had a nice lineatus wrasse. Had to exercise some self control. Not quite ready to add a fish. Had some bimac anthias too. Some nice torches. Going out of town for a bit. Don’t like adding anything before I leave town.
Oh well, next time.

Good idea not getting a new fish - well done!
 
Lineatus are a beautiful wrasse. They are very difficult to keep. Make sure it’s eating before you buy and check its mouth and spine to make sure it’s not damaged.

I had a Lineatus for 6 months then it got spooked and ran into the glass and damaged its jaw. It couldn’t eat after that and ended up starving.
 
I have a juvenile in my tank.. About 1 inch, very active and always out there in the open with the bigger wrasses.. can’t wait for it to grow and show its ‘true colors’
