It's something I wouldn't worry about *too* much, but just be extra careful: wear gloves/avoid reaching in the water with open wounds, be extra careful when siphoning, don't boil/bake rock from the tank, and wear eye protection/gloves when you frag it.

Honestly, those are precautions we should probably all be taking anyways given the amount of nasties in our tanks, but I just tend to be extra careful since my buddy told me his story before I started in the hobby and it made me paranoid.
 
Here's the secret to handling palytoxin -- keep the palys under water when you work or frag with them or. things they're on. it's when the stuff goes airborne that's the most frequent cause of issues.

in general, always a good idea to wear gloves, glasses \ goggles, and mask (or face shield) when working with them. And because of COVID, we all have these handy, right?? :)
