One good thing about having a big tank...

I decided to hook my heaters to my controller so the controller turns them off before the heater does (save wear and tear on the mechanism that does it)... well it backfired this morning, apparently the wires to my temperature probe got pulled out (not out of the water), I noticed this when the temperature read -0.0 As a result the channel that supplied power to the heaters was not on.

Well the tank was a bit chilly once I fixed it up since last night was a tad chilly (by San Francisco standards).. the tank itself was 70°F Nothing died, my fish were looking at me with such sad faces wanting me to add heat to the tank. Heaters have been on since this morning and it now is getting to 76°F or so.

So yeah, lessoned learn, big tank = good retainer of energy :D

Yeah, I looked at the "Alarm" settings they mentioned, still don't get how they work, doesn't seem like any of the options/toggles allow for "flip that bitch on!"
