Polarizer filter

Does anyone use circ. polarizer filters on their tank shots to rid of the glare?
Back when I had an SLR (Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back) basic filter was UV to also protect the lens element and the circular polarizing filter was great to get rid of ugly glare when shooting glass or other reflective surfaces.

I've never run into a situation where I thought about using a polarizing filter when taking pictures of my tank ... I'll have to try that next time and see for myself!
I do use polarizing filters when taking pictures outdoors though!

Nope, I don't use any for tank shots. I use them to shoot outdoors or if I'm shooting reflections (skylines, shooting through water, etc.).
