Just another nuvo 20 that I find is somewhat popular in this club. It'd been several years since my last marine tank. Had cichlids for the last 5 years and before that was all salt water. I went through probably 25 different size and type of tanks. Right now I have 6 but only 1 running.

I'm just going to make it simple and grow easy colorful corals. I'm looking for GSP to make it look like a sea of grass.

I'm using the cheap API salt water master test kit. Somehow ammonia is way off. Even with new RODI. The test water turns light blue. There isn't anything to indicate the reading of that color.

Ammonia - ?
nitrate = 0
nitrite = 0
PH = 8.03
salinity = 1.025

Current occupant = lightning maroon clown

That color is weird. Iirc, the only light blue you get from that test kit is for zero nitrite, so maybe the bottles got swapped?

Yours is thriving, mine is going to be as simple with little maintenance as possible.
