High Tide Aquatics

Props to Scaffolding Companies

After a rather lengthy construction project the scaffolding is finally being taken down.

I'm watching these guys hand down dozens and dozens of 4'x8' 1" plywood, 12'x8" planks of wood in the rain.

Amazing!

Ever see what happens when they mess up during set-up? It's pretty gnarly.

Better yet, ever seen the asian bamboo scaffolding crews at work? Talk about bending in the wind like bamboo :D

Haven't seen what happens when the mess up, but to watch these guys setup was pretty amazing and tearing it down in the light rain was even more amazing. They were handling these boards for three hours straight take a twenty minute break and go at it again for a couple more hours.

And of course as soon as I wrote the above post after they had been handing this stuff down to be loaded on the truck the 4x8 plywood slipped out one of the guys handing it down. Loud clang and bits of yelling. :D

I'll see if I can find the Sacto pictures from years back. They were setting up a multi story set-up and the lower section gave way. It was a mess and I happen to be onsite at the time :)
