Is the sea cucumber a tiger cuke? (http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=497+502+712&pcatid=712) I had several of those in my tank...so might have been in the rock.

Looks more like this http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=497+502+707&pcatid=707 no spikes... the 55 gallon continues to have an alge bloom, but the snails seem to be going at it >< I should take a pciture of it. The alge looks kind of bad and I dont want to hurt the livestock. what to do!? .... ><

What type of algae are you dealing with?
 
hey! Sorry for the late reply.. I have been very busy with the tanks.. I would take a picture of it. But I cant find my camera battery charger! I sent you a personal email tuberider! Hey Crabby thanks for helping me identify my cucumber >< I thought there was just one kind lol.
 
Ok ..so we put the free corals * that came from bar members, into the 50 gal.. They are flourishing.. Green stars are growing everywhere...><. We put a sea hare in there too.. Omg its quite funny. And Roger Rabbit (my son's name for it) is doing its job of eating the algae. I see new snails all the time. In the 135 gallon, 2 hermit crabs appeared out of no where. So the hitchhikers in there now include a sea cucumber and a few hermit crabs. Little starfish are growing all over the sides. We have reached a 4 count.. wonder where they are coming from..
 
Do yourself a favor and starting picking out the astreas (little starfish) now. Though many are harmless they can tend to poplulate very quickly and become a pain. There are also some more harmful strains of them that pester SPS and zoas.
 
hahaha I cant stand Coraline.. I was crazy when I said it was pretty... its all over my tank. Sergio dropped of some corals .. really nice guy. Came and hung out with me for a few.. Fending of his impatient wife hahaha. Those bird nest are growing new branches already .. is that normal?
