Reef crystal numbers.

To those that use reef crystals @H2OPlayar etc, can you tell me what parameters you get on a freshly mixed batch with RO/di? These would all be at the standard 35ppt.

I tested long ago at 1.024 with my Milwaukie digital refractometer
Hanna CA = 468
Hanna dKh = 9.7

I didn't test mg, but when I do a water change, my trident often goes from ~1400 to ~1200 on a ~25 gallon or ~1/8 volume

Hmm okay one my original complaints was the amount of money it would cost me to add magnesium to instant ocean original. The price point when it was 55 just wasn’t worth it. I think I estimated it would take 20.00 worth magnesium to bring it up to 1390 - 1420. So I switched because I could buy Red Sea blue for the same
Price and not have to add anything to it.

Now that the salt is 34.95 and I have discovered a less expensive way to make homemade magnesium .
