Tank has been doing very well overall.

Dosing for the first time has certainly helped I expect but the Cyphastrea has suffered because of it.

At this point my bigger concerns are corals touching each other and out competing each other in such a small tank.

About to do some growth shots.

Torch fell from where it was attached has gone from 2-3 heads.

Poker star Monti from frag swap is growing despite getting its ass kicked and stung basically anywhere I manage to put it due to knocks bumps and sweepers.

Blasto continues to grow. Was afraid I got some aiptasia x in it and maybe I did but it has bounced back 20+ heads

Whatever this is. Its growing and its sweepers are mega long.

Plate coral is struggling a bit. Has lost some color. Keeps getting covered in sand by territorial clown and sand sifting jawfish.

Jason Fox green Hydnophora from frag swap has done really well. It will soon start attacking other corals!

Rainbow Monti has almost fully encrusted its plug (it was just in the center) and is coloring up.

Space Invader Chalice doing well. But kept in back corner for safety. Dragon soul favia almost died too it has recovered and hanging out on the side of the tank.

Utter Chaos Zoas continue to thrive but grow much slower than the nuclear green palys or these damned green mushrooms so it’s a constant game of aiptasia X on the ‘weed’ coral.

Frogspawn really healthy and growing. I keep trying not to feed it since it’s encroaching and our competing the zoas below.

Toxic pie chalice strong growth despite moving and rotating it a bunch to prevent it from fighting with other corals.

This lepterosis may be gone. Haven’t found a great place for it and it keeps getting stung!

This meteor shower Cyphastrea is an absolute legend. Has grown and encrusted the rock almost. Dosing has made it start dying off in places though there is new growth.

This random chalice seems to be growing slowly but surely getting one or two more eyes.

Whatever this red and blue guy is kept falling off ledges but is starting to grow now. The whole back area (white) is new.

This guy from @ofzakaria’s gift is doing OK healing on the edges.

This other thing from the frag swap (no idea what it is at all). Started growing. Then my daughter ‘fragged’ it for me (thanks!)

Little brother frag is still alive and other has started to recover.

Bennett Yellow tort from Ofzakaria not looking great. Zealous crab knocked it in the sand a few days back overnight. Hopefully it survives.

There was a bunch of this red and yellow looks like Montipora encrusting the rock. It has been struggling but now seems to be coming back slowly but surely.

The second frag of frogspawn I didn’t give away has been growing. Lost a fight with the Hydnophora so down to 2 heads. Clown photobombing.

Don’t know what these zoas are but trying to prevent them from getting totally drowned by these damned palys.

Never put palys in your tank...

Eagle Eye Zoas and GSP doing fine.

Jawfish and Leopard wrasse leaves my snowflake blenny (who is camera shy) the only fish out of the picture set.

Hope y’all enjoyed the detailed update.

There’s more stuff in there that I didn’t document but mostly because I don’t know what it is, it’s too new to tell (eg one of @ofzakaria’s frags) or don’t care about it enough.

This tort is very hardy, it will survive. I also have alot of it so do not worry!

But yes hoping it will survive.

FYI the acid rain pc Acro is doing good too :)

Yup am talking about the bennet yellow tort that I passed you..its very hardy..

So holidays have been hard. Meteor shower keeps dying off.

Dosing in a nano is no joke.

So far I had been dosing something like 40 ml / day of all for reef. That had raised my Alk from 8.5 -> 10 in a couple weeks.

I ramped back to 18ml / day and now my alk is down to 6.5.

Having trouble getting a reliable reading on phosphates but have seen a small increase in algae so I replaced the GFO in the reactor.

Will keep folks posted.

Now dosing:
1ml Red Sea algae control daily
24ml all for reef daily (12x 2ml)
10ml reef AB (8x 1.2ml)

Will keep y’all updated as soon as I find a way to stabilize alk and phosphate at sustainable levels.

Much harder to find time with 2 toddlers at home!!!
