20gal is fine for a pair of perc. A blue tang anything less than 150 gallons tank is cruel to the fish better a 6ft tank as they get huge and like to swim.@MichaelB - what is the advisable tank size for a pair of percula clowns? i had a pair in a 20g for a while along with a blue tang. i got the tank like that and folks were surprised that I was able to keep a blue tang in there for the life of the tank.
I don't personally agree with that practice. If you have a larger tank it can go in and your growing it out, or you are getting a larger tank I would understand. Yet to get a fish purposely that you know you don't have a sufficient tank to hold it in isn't cool to me. Especially for tangs and the like that love to swim all over the tank.what a baby blue tang? Keep them while they are little and then pay it forward to someone as they get bigger?
What size tank do you currently have 32 gallons?@MichaelB - I can take it off of your hands. Once it settles in and is destressed, I can put it on DBTC. I am looking to get a pair of perculas eventually, else I would get a second maroon clown and call it done...but one never knows
I will be in the south bay on Wednesday.
