Torch tentacles changing color and size?

I have a 4 head indo torch. When I bought it, the tentacles were green with a fluorescent yellow head. I just noticed that the top two heads the tentacles are now thicker and more of a brown color. Do torches morph when the get older?

Yes they can change color over time.

So you just switched your program and you're running full intensity? Do you keep sps as well?
My question was about the lighting they were under when you bought them. I guess also important is how long you've had them?

Had them over two mo the ago. Changed the lighting and had two weeks acclimation period. The other two heads on the bottom of the same stalk looks the same as when o bought them

Funny you mention this... my purple torch I had for 3 weeks now is changing to gold and green...

It can happen as the coral expels zooanthellae that's no longer needed due to the light intensity. As the density of the zooanthellae thins out the coral colors lightens up.
