Hey, I've had the following video gear sitting around for several years since I haven't done much diving. I hate to see it gathering dust when it could be put to good use. If anyone might have an interest in it or know of someone who might be interested (i.e. a recreational diver or perhaps dive instructor who would like to take videos of the students in the ppol / ocean to provide feedback), please shoot me a PM.
The set consists of a professional strength (think Jacques Cousteau) Amphibico aluminum housing and an older model Sony handycam. I've also got a few extra lenses, batteries, etc. plus a second camera in non-working condition that can be used for parts if needed. Included is a heavy duty black solid carrying case that has been proven to withstand the occasionally not-so-kind treatment from cargo personnel in far flung outposts.
This is not a state of the art set, but is really built solid ... sort of like a Maytag or Kenmore appliance from the 1960s
