Vermetid snail quarantine. How long before they stop spawning?

So I am going to fan the flames here - going down a small rabbit hole I learned that vermitid snails actually use calcium carbonate to build their tubes! I can't find evidence that it impedes their digestive track at all. I also found that the bumblebees can be effective at removing them -but not guaranteed. Question-do you recall if they reduced after the introduction of the bumble bees or after?

There is only anecdote that the cc clogs up their digestive track. Bumbleebees are hit and miss, and they will go after your other snails - I do not use them.

It is possible but I don’t think 25 bumblebee snails can kill 2000+ vermitid snails in a month and a half, but I could be wrong! Coral snow is also nice for water clarity so little downside from what I can tell.

When I got rid of the vermitid horde I also pulled out every rock and scraped all the vermitids I could see and access, added 25+ bumblebee snails, dosed coral snow every few days, reduced use of pellet food, and rinsed all my frozen food to reduce particulates. Indeed it was a multiprong approach!

That is dedication for sure! Impressive.
I see them in my tank but they seldom shoot out the mucus so I take them out here and there where I can
