Weird algae breakout!!!

Now I have a very weird looking algae breakout. It is a combination of a green fuzzy algae combines with air bubbles. It is even growing on one of my corals which look s healthy. What type of algae is this now. I am having the worst luck with this new tank!!!!!

It's reminiscent of dinoflagelates or however you spell it.

Hmm. Any other pictures? Are all corals at all parts of the tank covered like that? Is the wall covered? I had algae like that, which was the dino stuff Eileen is referring to, but I'd have to see more.

the air bubbles just a result of photosynthesis. any rapidly growing algae will produce air bubbles.

True and not true. All may pearl but not all produce a film that captures the bubble inside it. Mainly phytoplanktons capture it like that.
