what can I do with a solar trickle charger?

besides the obvious trickle charge my car's battery. Good applications for a reef tank?
 
if you had a dc powered airpump (battery powered) you could keep it going when there's sunlight out... *shrug* ummm you could probably do some neat things with electricity and saltwater too :D
 
Are there any DC pumps out there? That are relatively cheap? I was thinking maybe use it to power a pump in a large res of salt water between water changes. Anything else that I could apply it to that's tank related? Running a fan when my MH is on? Anything else.
